IdealType AI — Privacy Policy

The short version

IdealType AI is designed to know almost nothing about you. There are no accounts, no email, no name, no photos of you, and no tracking across apps.

What we process

• Your ratings of AI-generated faces are processed on your device to build your taste profile. The profile is stored locally on your device only.
• A random device identifier (not tied to your identity) is sent with image-generation requests solely for rate limiting.
• Generation requests contain only abstract preference attributes (e.g. "long black hair") — never personal data. Images are generated by our infrastructure provider (fal.ai) and are not linked to you.
• Purchases are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.

What we do NOT do

• No collection of your name, email, contacts, photos, or location.
• No biometric processing — you never upload a photo of yourself.
• No advertising, no sale of data, no cross-app tracking.

The faces

Every face in IdealType AI is synthetic, generated by AI. They are not real people; any resemblance to real individuals is coincidental.

Data deletion

Your taste profile lives on your device — deleting the app deletes it. Rate-limit counters expire automatically within 25 hours.
